dai jyoubu desu
Big Thursday.
Crikey.
I'm thankful to say that all of the London contingent within my immediate gaze at least are safe and accounted for. Thanks to my riverside work I'm well away from the centre of town, and breezed through the tube unaware. However, almost everyone else I know, goes through that part of town, around that time of morning - most working days.
The reaction at work was strange, very 'business as usual'. I just wanted to talk about my feelings...
Had a long walk home with my colleague, and the streets of London were like the streets of Cheviot, for a day. Very calm and ordered, and feeling like a little town where even if you don't really know everyone, you know that they know someone who you know, or they know your friend, or perhaps they know someone who bought something from you on eBay.
Thanks for all the concerned emails, thanks to the kind folk who relaxed messages, and thanks to the London Metropolitan Police. Smashing job chaps. Go to bed knowing you did excellent work today. Police and ambulances were swarming on the scene incredibly quickly, and it's a reassuring feeling.
Off to bed, it's been quite a big day.
your man buying lottery tickets,
Arch :)

Dave is glad he lives in a suitcase.
Arch,
Glad to read that you're safe and well.
I think I need to get some updated contact details from you.
