The Sweet Ideals of Youth...

Don't know whether I'm still qualified to say that anymore, bein' a creaky kneed ol' man o' thirty, but I am apparently still an idealist. I formally gave notice at work this week, and outlined my reasons; my objections to the design process (or lack thereof), lack of dialogue and interrogation of different ideas, and the various 'management' issues that have led to my dissatisfaction. My employer told me I was seeking an 'Architectural Utopia', and wished me a smirking good luck.

Good luck to him, settling for less than Utopia...

Ahhhh, Sweet Sweet Career Realignment...

No no, don't sit down, this is just going to be a quick one...

Just a little hello as I prepare for my mammoth recounting of my expedition to find pumpkin pie in those United American States.

All is well here, I've moved into a bigger room in my flat, I've unpacked and only lost my camera - until Jules tracked it down in a Japanese restaurant in Minneapolis, and I'm enacted my Career Realignment programme - more later.
